To continue our work for vulnerable young families in Aberdeen, we depend on the generous support of donors, customers, fundraisers and corporate partners to maintain our services.

Where your support goes
All donations made to Home-Start Aberdeen stay in Aberdeen.
All of the funds we raise, the items donated to our shop and the items given to us for families contribute to our mission to provide the best start in life for young children in Aberdeen.
As a registered charity, we are regulated by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). You can read more about our governance and our annual accounts on their directory.
We are also proud to be part of the Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel’s Good Fundraising Guarantee.
Donations
Donating to Home-Start Aberdeen can make a big difference to local families.
You can donate through JustGiving by clicking the “Donate” button at the top or bottom of this page. This directly supports our work to ensure we are there for families when they need us. If you’re an eligible UK taxpayer, please consider adding Gift Aid to help your donation go even further.
You can donate your pre-loved items to our charity shop at 93-99 George Street. Sales in our shop help to reduce waste, generate funds for our charity and help us to support the local economy. If you’re an eligible UK taxpayer, please consider adding Gift Aid to help your donation go even further.
You can donate items for us to give directly to families we support. Please get in touch with us about this so we can help to ensure any donations are required and can be effectively distributed. We run appeals for donations when we identify family needs or around annual occasions like Christmas, winter weather, Summer activities/trips, etc.
Fundraising
There are many ways that you can fundraise for us and help raise the money necessary to support local families. Whether you want to run, cycle, trek, bake, abseil or organise an event, we want to hear from you!
